A Palestinian-American youth who spent 270 days in imprisonment by Israel absent formal charges has been freed.

The teenager Mohammed Ibrahim was 15 at the time of his arrest last February throughout the West Bank territory, while he was vacationing on holiday from Florida for allegedly throwing stones at Jewish settlers, claims he consistently denied.

The US state department said it welcomed the news of Mohammed's release.

Mohammed, now 16, needed medical care upon gaining freedom, family members reported.

Family described him as visibly pale and thin, while battling health issues developed during imprisonment.

In a statement, Mohammed's uncle expressed the family's "tremendous relief".

Zeyad Kadur described how relatives endured "enduring a dreadful, continuous nightmare" over the last nine months.

"Right now, our priority is getting Mohammed prompt healthcare he requires after experiencing Israel's abuse and inhumane conditions for months."

American authorities announced ongoing to extend consular services for the Ibrahim family.

{"American leadership considers paramount to the protection and welfare of US citizens"," the department emphasized.

Several congressional representatives had signed a letter to the state department and the administration, urging greater action to secure his release.

Mr Ibrahim, with four children operating an ice cream shop based in Tampa, had earlier stated his son only confessed to throwing stones because the soldiers beat him.

There were no visits nor direct contact following the detention, receiving updates exclusively regarding the treatment in detention through court documents.

The teenager remained lacking indictment in Ofer prison on the West Bank.

The facility also contains adult prisoners, including individuals found guilty of serious terrorism offences and homicide.

There are around 350 Palestinian minors in security custody being held in Israeli jails, according to the Israeli Prison Service.

Numerous remain uncharged while advocacy organizations, and international organizations, report instances of abuse and torture.

Subsequent to his liberation, Mr Kadur said the family would also continue fighting seeking justice for their relative Sayfollah Musallet.

The 20-year-old dual US citizen according to health authorities was beaten to death by radical settlers amid clashes in July.

Initially, military authorities reported authorities were looking into information regarding a civilian was deceased.

Mohammed and Sayfollah were employed together within the family's frozen treats establishment from Tampa.

No one has been charged for the cousin's murder.

"We demand United States leadership to protect our families," Mr Kadur said.
