Trump's Family Member Seeks Expert Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to Professional Golf First Appearance

Young golfer getting ready for significant tournament

The rising star has impressive social media presence

Kai Trump can count on multiple high-profile backers as she starts her LPGA debut on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to Donald Trump, was granted a special exemption to compete at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, someone who loves golf, operates numerous courses worldwide and often plays against Kai.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she stated.

She mentioned that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He basically told me to compete and enjoy myself," she added.

"To me, he's just a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in just three tournaments this year and has position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association rankings.

Yet she can seek guidance from golf legend, who is dating Vanessa.

"He stands as the top athlete worldwide," the young golfer said.

"And he's a more impressive person. He told me to compete, relax, adapting to whatever happens."

She'll challenge some of most prominent players in professional golf at the competition, featuring second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers stated that involving Kai exposes the sport to new audiences, particularly reaching younger fans.

The social media influencer has substantial online presence and has started her own apparel and wellness label.

The competition starts at 17:30 GMT.
