Two Individuals Accused Over Heathrow ‘Pepper Spray’ Attack
Two individuals are now facing charges following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray resulted in harm at London's Heathrow Airport.
Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two robbery charges and two counts of administering a noxious substance, as confirmed by court officials.
These accusations come after an probe of an assault at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two women were robbed of their suitcases stolen after exiting a parking garage elevator, authorities reported.
A young child was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons required hospital care and were eventually allowed to go home.
This event – described by police as was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – led to disruptions to rail services and the temporary blocking of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking area for a limited duration.
